Well, a few weeks ago I went on a mini bouldering adventure indoors at Climb Max with my friend and bouldering coach, Ben. The other day, Ben asked if I wanted to try a real boulder.... here is what happened.... ![]() A little ballet on the way down the boulder. Actually, the dance with nature reminded me a lot of my little girl ballet years. The shoes are not that different after all, but the sport does combine a high level and combination of grace, strength, coordination, intuitive thinking and action. This experience pushed me greatly internally and externally, but I am so thankful for my teacher's patience and ability to cheer me on and keep me motivated. As you can see from the footage I took of Ben, he is pretty awesome at this whole deal. And if you ever thought this was an individual sport, you can definitely see that it really is not. There is a community effort in the whole process and it was incredibly encouraging to experience.
Sometimes, you gotta push yourself and take it a step further.

I totally dig the way my shadow looks way more badass than I do, and you can see it the whole time. That is my second favorite only to your comment at the end of your climb that is cut midway through, "I'm a ner-"
