![]() Lately, I have been spending a lot of time crocheting these organic forms to go along with my drawings and paintings. I am enjoying using this simple material of cotton butcher's twine to create these freeform organic shapes. It is interesting to see the piece slowly grow and change and evolve as more and more forms are added to the Growth on the wall. I will have this and some others from the Growth Series on display in my studio for Studio Stroll coming up next month here in the River Arts District, June 9th & 10th. If you are in the Asheville area that weekend, I would love it if you stopped by to check it out! ![]() Yes, that is right, the Super Moon is shining in perfect view out the window right next to my crocheted installation! Pursue your crazy things, you never know how they will grow and change and help you to grow and change. I am doing a lot of that right now, growing and changing and learning. It is a challenging process, one that I wish clicked as well as learning to crochet eventually did, but there are always new challenges and new things to learn.
