A little while back, I wrote my most popular post to date: The Top 17 Reasons Why the World Needs You to be an Artist.

I decided I would expand more on the items on the list to give you a deeper understanding of what I was feeling, meaning, and intending when I wrote that list.

In this short video, I share with you more about #10 on the list: The world doesn't need any more crud.

As always, the world needs you to live life with the soul of an artist; with passion, intention, and purpose!

Keep nurturing your creativity,

We often forget how important it is to share FULLY and authentically of ourselves that we just shut down and hide...or say "someday."

As a former actress turned healer and coach who is feeling the pull to create again in that world, this is such an inspiration and reminder to me that the work I do as both an actress and coach are both important when I commit to it with integrity and the fullness of my passion.

Thank you, Court!

Court,
This post is a great reminder to show up fully and share your truths. Sometimes we worry too much about what people will think. When you come from a place of authenticity, it builds heartfelt connections. Thanks for the inspiration!

Elise,
You are so right. How much time have I spent worrying about what others think? Too much, for sure! Authenticity is the only place to come from, it is easier to be authentic when we are deeply rooted down in our truths. Great thoughts.

Definitely a great reminder in to embrace our unique creative genius and share it with the world. This actually goes along with my 100 Art Piece challenge, in that i'm forcing myself to try new things and see what i like and don't like along with what works and what doesn't for me. All part of the journey in finding my creative genius. Thanks for sharing.

Court, such an inspirational post. I've been feeling drawn to revisit my own creativity recently and this is a great reminder of why it's important to honor that. Thank you!

Beautiful message...this reminds me of one of my favorite quotes by Terence McKenna:

“The artist’s task is to save the soul of mankind; and anything less is a dithering while Rome burns. If artists cannot find the way, then the way cannot be found.”

Thank you for sharing, Court!! xo

Great post! Sometimes it's easy to lose sight of our own authenticity when we begin comparing ourselves to others and think we 'should' be doing this, instead of 'could'. I agree with what you say. Let's embrace our whole self and delight in what delights us the most - our passions!

Yes, Sonja, and our passions are so unique to us! The world needs each of our unique flavors to bring the good beautiful stuff. That is what I love about going through the whole process of becoming more authentic.
