Nothing Like an Open Studio event to get an artist to clean!

Well, June is upon us and that can only mean one thing to those of us busy artists in the River Arts District here in Asheville, NC.... STUDIO STROLL!

It is this weekend, June 9th Saturday & June 10th Sunday, 10-6 both days. And if there is anything that can get an artist clean and organized (joking mostly about myself) it is the thought that hundreds, possibly thousands, of people will be strolling right through your workspace! So I am working on hard on a new crocheted installation to show, as well as hanging some drawings & paintings & organizing a special "SALE" rack of work for purchase.

From 2:00-2:30 both Saturday & Sunday I will be doing a talk on the Top 3 Ways to Begin Nurturing Your Creativity Today! So if you would like to stop in for a creative chat, please do so around that time & hang out with me and my studio mates! My studio mate, Drew DePorter, is responsible for my sweet new Art Nurture logo that you see at the top of the website now! I felt like Art Nurture has been needing a little bit of a makeover recently, so I am pleased to begin the process! We also have a new studio mate, Kristalyn Bunyan, who will be making her Hatchery Studios debut this weekend.

Please do come by if you plan on being in the Asheville area this weekend or are a local in need of some artistic adventure!

Also, I have moved The Artist's Way online forward to this upcoming Monday June 11th, so there is still time to join our online group going through The Artist's Way by Julia Cameron.

This artist needs to keep cleaning and organizing or this weekend will be coming sooner than I would like, hope your evening is amazing! I left you with a slide show of some photos collected to show you the way to my studio, in case you needed some clues!
