It has been a while since I have written, embarrassingly enough, about a month.
I have been working a lot and changing at least a little. The Asheville Rites Project was wrapped up last week as a beautiful success. It has been sad this week for all involved to realize it is over, but I was thankful to be a part of the execution of such a beautiful design by my friend, Molly Rose Freeman. My newest announcement is that I will be moving my studio art practice down by the river. I am relocating this week to a working studio space in the River Arts District here in Asheville and I could not be more thrilled with the space and the opportunity. I have kept my eyes open and have been waiting for the right place and the right time. I will be in the newly re-finished Hatchery Studios building. I have quite a bit of work to do with packing and moving and prepping the space, but I am only happy about the change. Change is hard, but change will do you good. The main purpose is to work more within a nourishing creative community. I hope to at least be mostly up and running for the June 11th-12th Studio Stroll! I am also hoping to announce very soon the dates of classes and workshops for the Summer months, so stay tuned!

"If preparing to work with Court you should know that you will be challenged to be your best self and you will be given tools for how to do so.
You may also find yourself realizing dreams and vocations that may have been easier in the short term to keep hidden, but overall will allow you to embrace this creative part of yourself and live more fully." -Faith Josephs |
