An amazing day...

Today was an amazing day. I got to experience and get a behind the scenes tour of Eastern Carolina University's graduating Masters of Fine Arts thesis shows. I got to hear about the artist's work and the diverse directions it has taken through personal experience and development of new skills. 

I was able to enjoy good food and friends and kayak down a river. 

I got to see a student fashion show with hand dyed fabric and amazing metal smithing creating complimentary jewelry. 

I am so deeply thankful for this day that I could not have expected. 

I didn't spend the day in my studio or working on a project, but I was deeply nurtured creatively today. For that I am grateful.
