Finish this sentence: Creative people are....
Creative people are_________, ________, ________, _______, ________, ________ & ________. I would like to propose the thought that creative people are not necessarily those who wield a paint brush, that the definition of creativity is much larger. Here is a quote from a painter that speaks about creative qualities: "Creative people are curious, flexible, persistent, and independent with a tremendous spirit of adventure and a love of play." ~Henri Matisse I think this quote is amazing... Henri Matisse, known for his visual art, but describing creativity in people with definitions other than "painter" or "artist", though I'm certain he would agree many artists have these characteristics, those who are not artist's by profession also can possess and nourish these qualities. Notice he did not say, "I think creative people are visual artist's like me". Instead he used more descriptive words about personal approach to life and experience. Those who have a variety of professions, lifestyles and passions can be curious, flexible, persistent, independent with a spirit of adventure and a love of play!If I think about it again... maybe my thoughts will be a little bit different with a new and fresh perspective. Maybe even try including some qualities that you possess or would like to cultivate within yourself. Creative people are _______, ________, _________, _________, _________, _________ & ________. No worries if the paint brush ain't your thing... your curiosity may be with something else!
