No April Fool

The beginning of April has kicked off with a lot of activity from our studio here in The Hatchery.

My studio mate, Dustin Fowler, has a new ceramic installation hanging up at Odyssey Center for Ceramic Arts, here in the River Arts District. His piece is about community and he involved the community in his project, allowing many artists and friends to write on each individual piece what community meant to them. It is plain to see that we have been working together for the last year, as our work has begun to influence one another, which has helped my new adventures in three-dimensional forms and his new adventures in conceptual installation. I say this in congruence with the fact that my recent installed fiber pieces the "Growth" Series will be featured starting this Friday night, April 6th at the Madison County Arts Council, located in Downtown Marshall, NC. Reception to take place this Friday from 6-9 pm.

The next Art Nurture Free Webinar will be Monday, April 16th from 7:30-8:30. In the last webinar, Resistance & Roadblocks to Nurturing Your Creativity, all who attended seemed to agree that the worst fight you fight is in your head. This webinar will be focused on Nurturing Your Creativity by Entertaining Possibility, you can click here to register!

I am also working on a month long class for the month of May. The class size will  be limited because the goal will be to continue on in the depth of a small & consistent group. The class will last a total of 28 days! Sounds like the longest class ever, but don't worry, it will only involve a once weekly online class, plus daily tools sent by me straight to you! This class will be focused on developing your Creativity Habit and integrating it into your life. I will update you with more information soon!

Lots of announcements today, no foolin' around for the month of April. There is no time like the present to nourish creativity and to move forward spending our days doing things we love and helping each other in the process. Be encouraged, be inspired and be generous, good night!

I love the Photo herein of your fiber translations. Has the show already taken place? Do you have photos of the Exhibition of your Fibers?
