Artist's Way Tele-seminar

3/10/2011

I am now in my fifth week of the twelve-week course of "The Artist's Way" based on the book by Julia Cameron. It is amazing! The work is hard, but so worth it and the delving into what it is that blocks you creatively and how to train that creative muscle to break through is intense and meaningful. I can see big changes in myself already and I see even more necessary to come in the future. Anyhow, if you did not get a chance to sign up for this awesome class, had other time commitments, or have tried to take the class but failed, there is an awesome opportunity for you.

One of the teachers of my class, James Nave, and his friend Susan Fuller are doing a tele-seminar Wednesday, March 23rd 8:00-9:30 (EDT). The cost of the seminar is $27, much less than the 12-week class, and will help equip you to go through the book and the course on your own! I may tune in just to learn how to continue on in this on my own once the class is over and to help others to do the same.

Here is an excerpt from their webpage: www.increaseyourcreativity.com/artistsway/

"We’re inviting you to eavesdrop as we talk about what makes theArtist’s Way work, how we’ve helped others make it work and how you can make it work for you.

Who is this teleseminar for?

This class is for people from all walks of life who have the desire to create anything. It could be something as small as a hand painted stone or as large as a global business poised to change the world. Chances are, like most of us, you fall somewhere in-between.

So you’ve tried before and failed…

Bet you don’t believe failure can be your friend or that you can do all 12 weeks of the Artist’s Way on your own? Maybe you don’t even think you’re an artist so this isn’t for you. We’re here to tell you that creativity comes in infinite forms and you don’t necessarily have to be an “artist”.

Creativity is the prime species imperative. We all have it and we use it all the time. The Artist’s Way is about making it conscious, accessible and useful to you in whatever you do…raising kids, being a spouse, your job, your business…and yes your art whatever form that may take.

How does this work?

This teleseminar will be delivered via telephone conference call.

You get to call in and listen to 2 skilled facilitators who have more tips and tricks up their sleeves than even they know.

Not only will you get to listen but since both of us thrive on interaction, you’ll also have plenty of chance to ask questions. We know you’ve got them.

Can creativity be taught?

Bet you think creativity can’t be taught…and you’d be right. But that deep well of inspiration, innovation and creativity that exists in all of us can be accessed and mined to enhance all aspects of your life."
