Thanks to those of you who were able to attend last night's third ever free Art Nurture Webinar: "Resistance & Roadblocks to Nurturing Your Creativity". The recording is already up! You can check out the online classes tab here to re-listen or listen in for the first time. Yes, I am getting more expedient with this whole technology thing, thankfully. During the Webinar we talked about naming Resistance & Roadblocks for what they are and the top 3 solutions I use on a daily basis to move through them and to continue on in my creative practice. We also had some discussion time at the end where multiple attendees made amazing points regarding their own creative process. Definitely worth the listen, hope it is helpful to you and I am currently working on the next Art Nurture class! I'll keep you tuned in.... ...in the meantime... Have you heard of this book, The Happiness Project? My friend, Sarah, has a daily peel off calendar based on the book The Happiness Project and she sent me this wonderful list that came from it recently, because she knows this is my type of thing! I hope you also enjoy this list of creativity sparking tips.
6 tips for sparking creativity: -take time to wander, to go to unexpected places. -keep a notebook to record your impressions. -pursue ideas and activities that interest you, even if they seem unproductive. -make an effort to write, draw, or practice every day. -put yourself in Creativity Boot Camp: tackle a project in an intense, concentrated way, and push yourself to accomplish a lot in a short amount of time.
